About us

The Guardian Initiative for Community Development widely referred to as GICD is a Nigerian child-focused NGO working to address inequitable distribution of essential services, youth poverty, education and protection gaps undermining children’s ability to attain their full potentials. We achieve this through development advocacy, strengthening local protective systems, and facilitating access to resources and institutions that ensure skill development, continues learning and safety of all children.
