GICD empowers young people from low-income and high-risk backgrounds with practical skills, mentorship, and economic opportunities that create pathways out of poverty. We do this by providing 21st-century digital skills, as well as technical and vocational competencies that enhance employability and promote self-sustenance. Through strong partnerships with institutions and local stakeholders, we help build confident and resourceful youths who contribute meaningfully to their families and communities.
Reproductive Health Rights
We support especially adolescents and young people, to access accurate reproductive health information and respectful, quality services. Through community outreach, education, and partnerships with local health providers, we promote informed decision-making and help reduce preventable health risks, stigma, and harmful practices at the grassroots level.
Development Advocacy
GICD promotes community-driven development by engaging local leaders, amplifying grassroots voices, and advocating for policies that directly address the needs of underserved communities. Our work ensures that people at the margins are included in decision-making processes and benefit from fair, transparent, and sustainable development initiatives.
