GICD signs Strategic Partnership Agreement

We are proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Kavod Relief Initiative and The Guardian Initiative for Community Development formalizing a strategic collaboration aimed at expanding access to protection, skills development, and opportunity for adolescents in Plateau State.

This partnership anchors the implementation of Goals for Skills: Football Meets Tech, an integrated programme that combines sport-based engagement with digital skills training, mentorship, and employability pathways for adolescents. The initiative responds to critical child protection and youth unemployment challenges by providing safe spaces, relevant skills, and structured pathways toward sustainable futures.

As we close the year, this MoU represents more than a partnership; it reflects strong governance, shared accountability, and a joint commitment to measurable impact. It positions both organizations to effectively leverage resources, strengthen community systems, and deliver scalable, youth-centered interventions in the year ahead.
We are ending the year with renewed momentum and a clear focus on results.
